Something You Don't Know About Me: Prior to being called to the pastoral ministry, I worked as a reporter and news editor for two daily newspapers in Maryland and Virginia.
A little more:
I grew up as a child regularly attending church, but didn't trust Christ as Savior and Lord until I was a junior in high school, sometime after I had realized I was in need of Christ's forgiveness for my sin and that it was only Him who could give me a real sense of purpose and direction for my life. After working in the newspaper business for almost a decade, I surrendered to God's call to the pastoral ministry in 1983. Over the years, it has been a joy and a blessing to serve the Lord and His people, especially here at Porter.
